Survey of Programs in Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) and Writing in Disciplines (WID)
The US/Canada survey is now complete.We thank the more than 1350 institutions who have contributed. Please see the first set of statistical results. These results, now further updated, have been reported at such conferences as CCCC 2008 and IWAC 2008. We will also be announcing to selected listserves the posting of these results.
Fuller results, plus analysis, will be forthcoming in publications, at conferences, and on the website.
For Canadian institutions wishing to contribute to this project: now that the US/Canada survey is closed, we invite respondents from Canadian institutions to answer the Preliminary Survey for international respondents.
For all those wishing to contribute information about their WAC or WID initiatives to an ongoing database:
We strongly encourage you to publish the information about your WAC or WID initiative on the WAC Clearinghouse website: wac.colostate.edu. Once you establish a free account on the Clearinghouse, you may enter program information and/or contribute to the Research Exchange.
